Here at RunescapeTips we offer three types of signatures, these being, stat signatures, goal signatures and finally forum user stat signatures.
On our stat signatures, you can choose both a background color, and a character. Some of the background colors won't look good with a particular character, but we will let you decide which ones do and do not work. Feel free to experiment with the background and character combinations before you create the signature. There is an example that will change when you change the options.
Our stat signatures offer the one of a kind feature of a selection between P2P and F2P displays. F2P Signatures will only display F2P stats while P2P will show all the stats, as far as we are aware we were the first RuneScape fansite to offer F2P Signatures!
We regularly add new backgrounds to our Stat Signatures selection so be sure to check back often!
We try our hardest to keep all signature file sizes as low as possible. Currently our file sizes average the following:
- Goal Signatures - PNG: 3kb
- Goal Signatures - GIF: 2kb
- Stat Signatures - GIF: 23kb
- Stat Signatures - PNG: 30kb
The GIF file type should be allowed on all popular RuneScape fansites, and the PNG on many of them.
Updating your signatures can be done manually by simply entering your RuneScape username into the Signature Updater found on all our website pages. Additionally we update your signatures once every 24 hours.

Firefox and Internet Explorer Plug-in which allows you to update your signatures from within your browser.
